Single Loop Knitting in the Round

I just found this tutorial today, and it is changing the way I think about small diameter knitting. I totally hate the magic loop method because I hate managing both the loops of cable. This is a way to use a shorter length needle, yet still get the same effect. Go check it out!

Shifting Stitches: Tutorial: Single Loop instead of Magic Loop - for Knitting in the Round

One of the reasons I dislike magic loop is that it tends to kink my cables on my addis and I don't like the feel of it when I'm going back to work something larger. I really like to have a completely smooth cable. So, since once I do a magic loop project, I pretty much have to relegate that set of needles for magic loop. Course, it's always good to have a reason to increase my stash.

I am looking forward to trying this out. Once I do, I'll have to let you know how it goes.

I have tried the two at a time, but I prefer to do them one at a time because I travel with my socks and don't want to have to deal with two balls of yarn at once from my purse. I always end up with a huge tangle. I'll take a look at the CAPTCHA for spam catching and see what I can do.

Hello,
Love your n-ltr..
I wondered if you have used the 2 circs , two at a time sock method?

Have you tried the corkscrew scarf that is floating around the net ?
I'm just beginning it , it's fun.
