Kid on the Go Poncho
This poncho design is one that I created for a friend of mine. She had purchased the original Mom on the Go Poncho from me at a craft show, and her daughter wanted one just like it. So, after a half-dozen iterations, I found a version that I liked, and here it is…. It is designed to use Homespun because it is so soft, but it is easily adapted to use two strands of most worsted weight yarns held together.
Materials
Lion Brand Homespun, Parfait, 1 skein and a little bit extra
US 15 16”, 24”, and 48” circular needles
Size M crochet hook for cast on/bind off
Stitch markers
Yarn needle for weaving ends
Finished Dimensions
15” long by 66” circumference.
Gauge
Approximately 11 sts/4 in in stockinette stitch.
